Named for the palaces that shaped its silhouette, the Rajmahal Heritage Gold-Toned Kundan Bridal Set draws on the grandeur of royal Indian court jewellery. Rajmahal, meaning “royal palace”, speaks to the scale and ceremony of this piece, where layered motifs and heritage craftsmanship are built up panel by panel. It recalls an era when bridal jewellery was made to be seen across a hall, and worn as a mark of occasion.
This bridal set is worked in a warm antique gold-toned finish across a wide collar of linked openwork panels. Lotus and leaf motifs are inlaid with ruby-inspired and white Kundan-style stones, framed by carved gold-toned leafwork and bordered with fine pearl-look beading. A fan-shaped centre pendant carries a green-toned square centre ringed by two rows of pear-shaped Kundan-style stones, finishing in a fringe of emerald-green-toned oval drops and textured ghungroo detailing. The matching jhumkas echo the same artistry, with green-toned drops and pearl-look fringes for graceful movement.
Made for the centrepiece moments: weddings, receptions, sangeet and engagement ceremonies, and the larger festive occasions. Style it with a Banarasi or silk saree, a bridal lehenga, or a richly worked Anarkali where the neckline gives the collar room to sit. Worn by a bride or gifted within the family, it carries the weight of a heritage piece.
