Panna means green and kamal means lotus, and both run through every panel of this long haar. Jadau names the setting tradition behind the look, where flat-cut stones sit pressed into the metal rather than gripped by claws. What you get is one idea repeated with patience down the length of the piece: a lotus opening in red and green, on the side panels, on the centre, and again on the roundels below it. It belongs to a tradition where a necklace was read motif by motif.
The set is worked in an antique gold-toned finish and strung on beaded straps rather than a chain. Each side begins with short strands of faceted green-toned beads, moving into parallel rows of white pearl-look seed beads before ending in a fluted end cap and a round lotus panel. Link chains carry the sides into a two-part centre: a scalloped round panel above, and a wider crescent below holding three lotus roundels. Green-toned teardrop beads and pearl-look clusters fringe the bottom edge around a central gold-toned jhumka bell. The matching earrings repeat the same lotus in two tiers.
