The Blush Pearl Cascade Pink Gold-Toned Kundan Necklace Set is named for the fall of pale pink drops that runs the full width of its lower edge and hangs longest at the centre. Cascade is the right word for it: the piece has movement and weight rather than stillness, and the blush tone keeps it soft where a brighter pink would read loud. It is a short collar, made to sit high and close to the neck.
The collar is a lattice of bezel-set stones in a polished gold-toned finish, dropping to a soft V at the centre front. Pale pink-toned ovals and pears alternate with clear flat-cut Kundan-style squares and marquises, linked with fine wire and separated by pearl-look beads, two to three staggered tiers deep. Carved pink beads and pearl-look clusters rise along the top edge too, so pink frames the collar above and below. At the base of the V, a larger pink-toned oval sits above a four-petal flower of clear marquise stones. The matching earrings are long chandelier danglers that stack the same elements top to bottom and finish in carved pink teardrops.
